Enough is enough. No more us vs them, I refuse to choose between left and right. I have been ostracized, outcast, hated by other melinated Americans for not being “black” enough. Why? Because I don’t believe I am a victim? Because I don’t fear white people? Because I don’t fear the police? Because I don’t and will not vote Democrat? Well fine then, I am not black, I am tired of being ridiculed, hated on, and ostracized. I do not care if you call me a coon, uncle tom, uncle ruckus, or any other name people have called me trying to bully me to toe the line. No more! I am an American Patriot. I hereby renounce any other label or title given to describe me. So be it, so shall it be. From henceforth I am affirming that I am an American Patriot.
What does this mean? I was born on American soil; I was raised in America and have citizenship in America. I am a native-born son of Liberty. Native meaning: Belonging to a particular place by birth. I am a Patriot, meaning: A person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against enemies or detractors. I strongly believe in The Declaration of Independence, The US Constitution, and The Bill Of Rights therein. Especially an extreme belief in the part of Declaration of Independence which states:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed”
As a Patriot, I know and will continue to relearn the Constitution of the United States of America. Because this is my shield. This is what protects me and my family from the overreaches of the big government and tyranny. Moreover, the Bill of Rights is what keeps me secure in my Liberty and keeps those who in authority who seek to violate those rights and their oath at bay. This is step one in living without fear of authority figures.
As a Patriot, I have and will continue to learn and expand my knowledge of the basics of civil and criminal law and procedure. Because of this, I know what I can and can’t do as it pertains to the local state and federal legislative rules. Laws are kin to Standard Operating Procedures of a community. Knowing that as long as I follow these procedures, I should not come into contact with policy enforcers negatively. But because of steps one and two, I know that I will be okay. This is step two in not fearing authority figures.
As a Patriot, I will support and defend the Constitution and the rights of EVERY citizen. This does not change because of one political belief or life choices. This is all-encompassing. Although, there will and have been times that I don’t agree with the stance and ideals of some people. But knowing and respecting the Constitutional rights of others I will not shut them down. Only if, and when, someone else infringes on the Constitutional rights and civil liberties myself or of others will I stand up/ fight and defend the rights of others and myself.
As a patriot, I have served and will be of service to my community and subsequently my country. I will continue to do my part to help those in need. I will also affirm the commitment to defend the US; The Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. When called upon to do so I will give of myself up to and including the ultimate sacrifice to defend my home, America.
Listen, there is much more that is involved in being an American Patriot. But this is the crux of the ideology that I am now fully on board with. The liberty movement is for all. For those that would like to see this Republic rejuvenate its We the People power structure. I am renouncing my allegiance to a political party. I will not have anything to do with the Democrats and The Republicans are just that in name only. Libertarians have potential, but still can’t get their shit together.
So, there it is, I am a Patriot, an American Patriot. I will continue to be one until the day that I die. I am no fair-weather fan; I am a Patriot through the good times and the bad times. America is not perfect; people are not perfect. But this is my home.
